đź“ŤÂ Lay of the Land
First, it's important to know that there are two hubs in Cabo: Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.
- Cabo San Lucas: This area has a lively spring break atmosphere, a main marina, a bustling tourist downtown, and a swimmable beach. It offers plenty of hotels and restaurants to explore, including popular spots like Squid Roe and Mango Deck.
- San Jose del Cabo: This area has a more local downtown scene, with a cool gallery and art scene. It is closer to newer resorts and features nice, new restaurants. It is also closer to the airport.
These two areas are approximately 30 minutes apart, and you can't go wrong with either. If you're looking for a central location, staying in between both hubs is a good option too!
